Future Teachers of Alaska Student Gathering

The Future Teachers of Alaska (FTA) hosts an annual Student Gathering which brings selected FTA club members, advisors and coordinators together with Native educators, community members, UA staff and other education leaders. Other highlights of the Student Gathering include educational tours, t-shirt exchanges, student-led workshops, ice cream socials, and much more! The 2009 FTA Student Gathering will be held in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Future Educators Association National Conference

The Future Educators Association (FEA) hosts a national conference which attracts future educator/teacher clubs from across the country. FEA conferences include interactive keynotes and sessions. Past conference locations have included Atlanta, San Diego, Chicago, Chattanooga and others. The 2009 FEA conference will be held in Denver, Colorado.

Alaska Bilingual Multicultural Education/Equity Conference

The Alaska Bilingual Multicultural Education/Equity Conference (BMEEC) is an annual event hosted by the Alaska Association for Bilingual Education, Alaska Native Education Association and other partners. The BMEEC provides an opportunity for educators and students to share perspectives on educational objectives, projects, programs and more.

Native Hawaiian Education Association

The Native Hawaiian Education Association (NHEA) is a non-profit organization of Native Hawaiian educators. NHEA hosts an annual convention in Honolulu which features a variety of keynotes, workshops, and networking opportunities.
